Bluey with Joy Rose (vo) & Graham Harvey will be joining Miki Hirose Jazz Orchestra at EXPO 2025.

The United Nations (UN) will be holding the event “Speaking Jazz” at the EXPO National Day Hall to celebrate International Jazz Day at the EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Kansai, Japan. This event will showcase the unifying power of jazz by bringing together musicians from various nations, ages, and linguistic backgrounds, fostering a dialogue of global citizenship through music.
“Speaking Jazz” will be conducted by the talented trumpeter Miki Hirose (広瀬未来) who will be accompanied by his Jazz Orchestra, as well as Grammy award-winning artist Keita Ogawa on percussion for an outstanding performance. The event will also welcome special guest musicians, including Japanese folk legend Ryoko Moriyama who has performed at the Osaka Expo 55 years ago, as well Jean-Paul 'Bluey' Maunick, known for his UK-based multinational jazz-funk group INCOGNITO.
